Frequently asked Questions?
1. Will you provide me a location? Or I will find on my own?
- The franchisee is the one who will find for their prospect location but they may request for a locator's service offered by registered locator agents for a minimum of P 4,000 BUT WE HIGHLY SUGGEST that the aspiring franchisee would be the one to look the location for he/she has the ample time to take care of that concern since the release of the cart is 3 - 4 weeks. The franchisee could tell the company about it and have it approved.
2. Do we need to find our own crew/cook?
- Yes, but the training and uniform will be provided by our company. It’s already included in the package.
3. How about in Cavite? Batangas? Laguna? Etc…
do you have Food Distributor in these areas
-we have our distributors in different areas, but it must be first checked on the database whether there would be a near distributor on your place so that we can deliver it on the distributor's place so it would be ready for pick-up.
(The address of the distributor is confidential that is why authorized franchisee only have the information where the distributor is located)
4. Is there a one day processing of availing the cart so that is would be efficient for me since I live outside Metro Manila?
- for clients who wish to have a one day processing we highly suggest that it would be better to meet me up 11am of Wednesday (preferably for those who our living outside Metro Manilia), for assistance purposes. FOR THAT DAY ALL THE TRANSACTION WOULD BE SETTLED , SUCH AS PAYMENT FOR THE CART , CLOSED DOOR FRANCHISE SEMINAR ON EXACTLY 12NN , CREW TRAINING , CONTRACT SIGNING AND ELOAD ACTIVATION (TEXT/CALL ME FOR SCHEDULING THE MEETING)
5. How many days the cart would be release?
- approximately 3 - 4 weeks upon payment.
6. How about the concerns about Letter of Intent and Contract?
- letter of intent is needed to inform formally the lessor that you would like to put up your cart there, our company will be the one to provide that upon payment of the cart.
7. Do you allow us to modify the cart so it would appear more appealing that will surely grab the attention of the customers?
- yes, we allow that as long as you will not change the trade name and will not affect the reputation of the company.
8. Are the beverages of your cart tied up to BLACK GULAMAN?
- No, the good thing about our company is that the franchisee have the sole POWER to take care of the cart/unit they have franchise. As long as you'll able to follow the system opened up in the FRANCHISE SEMINAR you'll surely grow your business with our company.
9. What if there's also a same concept/food cart in my area? (ZONING POLICY)
- we don't allow same concept within the same area but provided that it is 500 meters away from each other, you may put up your cart on that area. (I suggest that you must be the 1st to franchise because we follow 1st come 1st serve basis. Your receipt will be the strongest evidence to win the place over the late franchisee who was able to avail the same concept. Our company holds the data for that reference, Once you avail the food cart concept the receipt. It is advisable to get your cart first before you find for your location for you have enough time to search for the location of your cart. It would not be a smart decision to prioritize the location first because the possible thing that may happen is that your renting period started without your cart for it would take your 3 to 4 weeks to get your cart after you pay for it. )
10. How can i get my cart?
- you may get it through personal pick-up, terminal to terminal delivery or office to distributor in your area. The process to get the cart is furthermore discussed in the franchise seminar.
11. How much would be the salary of my crew?
- well the standard is only P150 per day, but it really depends on the franchisee if he/she will give an incentive.
(for example as a franchisee, you hit P3000 and above sales that day, you may give extra credit for your crew. This will also provide him/her the motivation to sell your products.)
12. What are the other expected expenses that a franchise must cover on starting this kind of business?
- the aspiring franchisee must bear in mind that he will be the one who will process business permits like DTI, BIR, Barangay Permit and other documents that is needed(Question regarding this matter is widely discussed in the franchise seminar).
You are also the one who will pay for the rent of the place of your cart. A freezer must also be added to the expenses in your capital because this is to ensure the quality of the products.
13. Would I also get the business permits for my business
- Yes , but it really depends on the location you have. If you'll just put it in your house , you may coordinate with your barangay and get a barangay permit and it is different scenario for commercial locations. The landlady / landlord may ask you to provide mayor's permit . BIR and DTI (if you will register the business under your name). More of the technicalities of business permits and best practices for running your foodcart business will be discuss on the franchise seminar.
14. How many months would be the Return of Investment(ROI)?
- Based on the reports of our franchisees, this passed few months, the ROI is estimatedly 3 - 4 months. But R.O.I. of course really depends on the location of the cart and suitability of the concept you purchased.
(Good enough for getting the ROI of your cart, unlike with other companies who offers foodcarts for franchise which will count you a year or a couple of years to get your Return of Investment)
"You may also check the profitability in the attachment so that you have an idea how our food-cart earns
(this is based on the last month sales report of our franchisees)"
15. What do you look in a potential Franchisee?
- A potential dealer should be willing to invest money , willing to find a good location for the unit and willing to follow set standards and Potential dealer should possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
16. What is the cart dimension for single cart ?
- height 6ft , width 2 ft , lenght 3 ft
- area requirements 2.5m x 2.5m
17. What is the shelf life of the products?
